Treena Bean {Review + WIW}

Have you guys heard of Treena Bean? It's this absolutely adorable, gorgeous, wonderful, inexpensive online boutique!! I found them through another blog, and I instantly fell in love with them!!!! Here, take a look at why, these are a few of my favorites from their shop.....
Only $18.95!
Only $11.95!
Only $11.95!
Only $17.95!
Only $19.95
Aren't their pieces just fabulous?! I contacted them about Jewelry in July, and they asked if I would do a review in June for them--and I would get one piece of my choice from their boutique. Uhm, of course I said yes!!!

And oh my goodness, I had the absolute hardest time choosing the piece I wanted. No joke, I went through their shop who knows how many times, going over the pros and cons of choosing this piece vs. that piece. Choosing between gorgeous jewelry is just hard for me! Hehe! Well I finally decided on the following piece....

I decided on this Bangle because well.... look at it, how gorgeous is it? And I don't regret choosing it at all!!
It's high quality, not nearly as heavy as it looks, and I adore the mix of elegance and steampunk! I couldn't wait to wear it!

It's not really as big as it looks on me, I just have tiny {bony} wrists. {oh. and my tiny wrists make my hands look huge. Yeahh I'm kinda weirdly shaped. Hehe}

I just love love it!!! The color combination is wonderful, it doesn't pinch your skin, and honest, it looks like it should cost more than $15.95!!

Needless to say, I would not be disappointed if I had bought it! And trust me, I've been disappointed after buying jewelry. A lot. And I would not recommend those shops to anyone, but I highly recommend Treena Bean!

Not only is the jewelry impeccable, but Abbi was such a delight to communicate with! And, if you do purchase from their shop and for some {strange, weird} reason you aren't pleased, you can contact them! Customer satisfaction, as most everyone says, "number one priority"! And they mean it! I have no doubt that if you were unhappy that they would be kind and accommodating!

Trust me, you will not regret being a Treena Bean customer, if anything you'll soon be raving about them just like me! Because, they're fabulous. Yup. So why don't you go check them out? Browse their shop for a while, find your favorite pieces! :)

P.S. - They're sponsoring a giveaway over at Olive and  An Arrow! Go check it out! {or don't.... so that maybe I can win. You know. That would be awesome. Hehe!}

What I Wore: To Church

Okay. I kinda really love this outfit. But maybe it's just me.... I dunno. I love it!

I never get heels, but I love these!

I just adore adore adore this (ignore the bobby pins and elastics... this was after church and I'd been tired so I fiddled with my hair to keep me awake)....

And now my absolute favorite part.....

Oh my gosh, isn't that just the most gorgeous necklace ever?!? It was a custom creation for me by Necks to Nature, and I couldn't be more happy with it!!!!! AH! I just love love it. I can't get over it!!!! I felt just gorgeous wearing it. Plus, it looks so so so expensive, doesn't it?! Shawne is just fabulous!!! And she loves custom orders, so shoot her an email {info@neckstonature.com}!!!

Because of how amazing the necklace is, I tried to keep the rest of my outfit simple! I wasn't going to wear earrings, but I decided on small, simple diamond{fake of course} earrings. Barely noticeable, and very cute!!

Jacket: Maurices -- I got this several years ago, so I don't remember the price. I do know it was on clearance, and I don't generally buy anything unless it's less than $15 (unless it's for a special occasion)
Tank Top: Hand me down from my sister -- Free!
Skirt: (late) Birthday present from my best friend! -- Free!
Shoes: Payless -- $30 {they were my prom shoes}
Headband: J&M's Eye Candy {be on the lookout for a review shortly!}
Necklace: Necks to Nature {Shawne has a lot of amazing deals for summer going on!!! Including free shipping!!! Head over to her facebook and check it out!}

P.S. See the bruises on my knees? And how they're deformed-ish looking? Yeah, I hate them. They're evil. Two knee dislocations and two knee surgeries later these are what I'm left with.... Ugh.

What I Wore on Sunday! (+ major savings in my shop!)

I am in *love* with this outfit. No joke! I would wear it every day if at all possible!!!

At church:

After church:

Clothes:
Shirt - Borrowed from my friend that is visiting. Oh how I wish it was mine!!!
Skirt - DownEast Basics outlet $7
Jeans - Maurice's around $15

Jewelry:
Ring - Necks to Nature $12
Necklace - Borrowed from said friend....again I wish it was mine!
Feather Earrings - Etsy, I don't remember what shop

Hair:
My friend french braided it the day before after I showered, then all we did was take it out and put in a few loose braids for church! Afterward church I pulled it over to one side and put it in a really sloppy, big braid -- super easy, and way cute!

P.S. I have a special "grab bag" action set in my shop, only available for {less than} a week!!!
Get all of these actions for only $20! If you bought each of them separately, the price would be over $140 easily! Don't miss out!

No Heat Curls!

I achieved these curls/waves without using any heat! Plus, it was easier than french braiding (but that may just be me... I hate french braiding, because I SUCK at it)! What I did was after my shower last night, when my hair was simply damp, I twisted and twirled my hair around my head, putting in bands as I went to help keep it in. When I got to the base of my head and the hair that wasn't on my head, I pulled it up and pinned it with bobby pins on the side. It actually didn't bother me while sleeping, like you would think!
This morning I left it in for a while to help it dry more, then I turned my blow dryer on low and cold and barely went over the thickest part in order to help it dry more.
I then took it out, just slightly running my fingers through and shaking the twists out. I did not brush it, you just run your fingers through! After that, all I had to do was bobby pin my bangs back, and I was done! Wallah! Definitely something I'm going to do again :)
(this was my first time doing this, so it's not perfect. but, that adds to the look I think)

And now, to the what I wore part! I went simple and lazy today....

Shirt: A little place called, my friends closet! She was getting rid of clothes, so I grabbed a ton. Whoo! $0
Pants: Skinny jeans, Maurices around $10-15
Necklace and bracelet: Gelivable Gift (etsy): Hunger Games inspired! I splurged on the bracelet, because I love it so much! I normally wouldn't spend that much on a bracelet $29 together
Earrings: Necks to Nature Jewelry and Gifts I do product photos for this shop, and I love her and her work! It's well worth the money you'll spend! I get compliments anytime I wear anything of hers--no joke! It never fails, ever!
Make-up: Covergirl lash blast mascara (LOVE it!) Around $10 for a 3 pack at Costco
Lip gloss (pale pink, almost clear): Bath and Body Works Gift

If enough people want, I will do a step-by-step photo tutorial of how I did the curls - comment if you're interested!

What I Wore

Yes, it's my first what I wore post! Whoo! Today was my younger brothers 13 birthday, so my Dad took all of us to see The Avengers! Now, I've been wanting to see it before it was "the thing" to see. My brother told me as soon as they announced it wherever they announce that stuff, before anyone really knew, and as soon as he told me, I was dying to see it! See, I love the comic book movies and stuff... I'm geekly chic! Hehe

But of course, today of all days, my migraine got terrible. Like, I woke up all night long because my head was pounding. But there was absolutely no way I was gonna miss this movie! So, I decided I wanted a hair do that I wouldn't have to pull back/up/around or anything (no strain on my scalp), and that wouldn't take very long. So, I decided to do messyish curls!

Total prep time {including hair, clothes, etc...} was only about half an hour, which is really fast for curling hair!

Tank Top: Nordstom's Rack Clearance $5
Bolo Sweater: Macy's $10
Belt: I grabbed it from a pile of stuff my neighbors were throwing away $0
Pants: Maurice's >$15ish
Boots: Hand-me-down from my sister $0
Necklace: Christmas present from a friend $0
Earrings: Local boutique, Hildi's Gifts $1.50
