Bullying Week

This is the first day of my bullying/self harm awareness week. Each day this week I will be sharing stories, I will post pictures taken specifically for this, and just trying to show that it is serious. I want people to realize that making jokes about bullying, about people hurting themselves, it's just unacceptable. Everyone knows what the stereotype of a depressed person is... Black clothes, black make up, chains, all that scary stuff, but the fact is, it's not. Some of the most depressed people are sometimes viewed as the most happy ones. Sometimes the people that cut themselves do it in places that it's not visible.

I have never cut myself, so I'm not going to pretend to know what that is like, but I know several people that have. Some of my very best friends have... Making jokes about it makes it worse for them. It's not okay. And it needs to stop.

If you have any requests for me this week, have a story you'd like to share, etc... email me at hiddenbeautyphoto@gmail.com.

Let's try to change a life!

Good luck Rachel! I've been through bullying and self-harm as a teenager/young adult. I am more than happy for you to contact me, I did drop you an email at the weekend :)
