Hope in Quotes

I'm a quote girl.... always have been. Inspirational quotes help get me through tough times, help me feel better about myself, and just lift me up. I even spent all summer writing my own quotes for a "quotes account" on Twitter. I wrote every single one myself... it helped me to take the feelings that were boiling inside and just get them out.

Eventually, I left twitter because of some things that happened, and getting on there was just stressful and quite honestly, painful for me. When I logged on, I felt like a weight was slapping me across the face and crushing my chest.

This post is for everyone who has ever been crushed by something or someone... For anyone who ever felt like they couldn't breathe, who ever felt like they were burning from the inside out... Anyone that's ever felt like they were always crying, even when it wasn't physically visible.

It doesn't last forever, I promise. The scars will be there forever, but the pain won't always be. It may take a long time, but it will happen. Eventually you will find someone who doesn't make you want to cry, who doesn't belittle you. Someday, you will be able to look back on your time with them, and be able to see at least one good thing that came out of all the pain. Hold onto that one thing! If you don't, all you'll remember is the pain, that pain will be with you forever.

You can make it, because you deserve to make it. It's your life, don't let a bully become the lead--star in it yourself! Don't let them write your script, you control that. Once you refuse to let them control the direction you're going, they can't force you down that path. Life is hard enough without letting someone mean call the shots. Trust yourself, believe in yourself, and know that you're worth it! Speak up for what you believe in--stand up for yourself!

"Real life is a funny thing you know. In real life saying the right thing, at the right moment is beyond crucial.
So crucial in fact, that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
But lately what I’ve began to fear more than that, is letting the moment pass with saying anything.
I think you deserve to look back on your life without this chorus of resounding voices saying, 'I could have, but it’s too late now.' So there’s a time for silence, and there's a time for waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel, and you so clearly know what you need to say.... you’ll know it. I don’t think you should wait.
I think you should speak now.”
